Daily Wire’s Jeremy said of the new film which premiered at the 2020 Venice Film Festival: “Run Hide Fight is ultimately a movie about courage in the face of evil. This is a gut-wrenching film that does not offer easy talking points, which is why liberal Hollywood executives have refused to distribute it.”
Deadline also includes that Dallas explained:
“We’re proud to work with The Daily Wire as the exclusive North American distributor for Run Hide Fight. The Daily Wire’s policy of not publishing the names of mass shooters made it an ideal partner. If this film has a political viewpoint, it’s that we should not make terrorists famous; it’s the heroes whose names we should remember.”
WHAT DID THE CRITICS SAY?
Run Hide Fight currently holds a very low rating of 13 out of 100 on Metacritic, based on six reviews in total.
IndieWire’s David Ehrlich criticised the film, arguing: “Run Hide Fight is a glib, artless, and reprehensibly stupid thriller that doesn’t even have enough on its mind to be provocative. It’s a movie made by someone who’s seen too many movies, and now made at least one too many as well.”
Similarly, The Telegraph’s Robbie Collin wrote: “The film makes no attempt to grapple with the American school shooting as a nihilistic cultural phenomenon.”
